Honorary Fellow and Founding Director of IEEP.
Nigel is recognised as a leading authority on the development and application of EU environmental policy. He has been the author and/or editor of the Manual and its fore-runner 'EEC Environmental Policy and Britain: An essay and a handbook' since 1984. Nigel has been appointed by the European Parliament to the Management Board of the European Environment Agency. Previously he was a Board Member of the Environment Agency (for England and Wales).
