20 November - Adaption and the impacts on and role of the broader environment in adapting and mitigating climate change - Biodiversity, Soils and Water
This session introduced the concept of adaptation to climate change. Importantly it also addressed how the broader environment will be impacted upon by climate change and its role in helping to adapt to climate change and mitigate our emissions. The session specifically focused upon the role of and impacts upon biodiversity, soils and water.
To complement the more technical assessments representatives from the European
Environment Agency provided details of the support and information resources
they hold to help interpret these issues.
