The adequacy of EU action on flood protection, focusing on the Commission's recent proposal
This briefing concludes that the proposed Directive on the assessment and management of floods is a positive development, although it makes some recommendations for improvements to the legislation. It is one in a series of eight briefings produced for the European Parliament under a Framework contract led by IEEP.
