This report contains the five case studies written for the report ‘Funding For Farmland Biodiverity in the EU: Gaining Evidence for the EU Budget Review’. The five qualitative case studies - for Finland, Hungary, Navarra (Spain), Portugal and England (UK) - examine the use of specific CAP measures in more detail, and an assessment is made of the role they might play in biodiversity protection.
