IEEP has drawn up a report which presents national legislation, initiatives and programmes recently launched by EU Member States and EEA countries to tackle and face climate change.

The report was requested by the European Parliament’s Temporary Committee on Climate Change (CLIM) to serve as background material for the Joint Parliamentary Meeting between EU national parliaments and the European Parliament. The meeting was set up with the aim of discussing the EU’s approach for moving forward international cooperation on climate change and in particular the EU’s approach at the UN climate change conference in Bali at the end of this year.
