The impact of climate change mitigation measures on growth and jobs has to date been little investigated, and its implications on different economic sectors are still subject to debate. There is a need for an overview of the existing analysis on the subject, and an interpretation of key findings. This report aims to provide a synthesis of past studies addressing the impact of climate change mitigation polices – aimed at CO2 reductions – on growth and jobs. It also looks at the implications of different mitigation scenarios for 2020 and beyond. In the review, particular attention is given to the impacts of these policies on different economic sectors.
