EP Briefing Note on the Job Creation Potential of Clean Technologies 

A study on the job creation potential of clean technologies.Economic areas were identified which are characterised by a strong impact of environmental policies. In particular, the study
analyses the following areas: Job creation in the energy economy; Employment effects of maximum pollution standards in the automotive industry; Employment in the field of transport infrastructure; Jobs generated in the field of the conservation and restoration of natural resources; Job-intensive farming; Environmental audits: consultation and planning; and Environmental Research and Development.
