The Commission’s Lisbon Review and the Downgrading of Environmental Policy 

<p>In his contribution to the EPC’s Challenge Europe debate on the priorities of the Lisbon Agenda, IEEP Senior Fellow David Wilkinson argues that the EU’s overall environment policy risks being relegated to a lower rank far behind growth and jobs. &quot;Less and looser&quot; environmental regulation will inevitably be the consequence of making competitiveness the highest goal.
