A part of a series of strategic analyses on the Sixth Environment Action Programme this report evaluates how Better Regulation approaches have shaped the implementation of the objectives set out in the 6EAP in the process of their translation into legislative measures. This process, from the adoption of the 6EAP in July 2002 and the further specification of its aims, especially through Thematic Strategies, resulted in legislation reflecting different aspects of the Commission‟s Better Regulation agenda.
