<p>A new report resulting from an international seminar on the relationship between the EU Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and biodiversity held in Warsaw, Poland on 7 - 8 December 2006, which was hosted jointly by the Polish and Dutch governments.</p> <p>The first section of the report presents the conclusions of the seminar, identifying issues to be addressed on the CAP and farmland biodiversity, and presenting an agenda for further action. <br /> <br /> The main section summarises key points from the seminar presentations and plenary discussions, with examples which illustrate some of the findings of the working groups. The last section is an edited version of the seminar’s background paper.</p>
