Implementation and Enforcement Capacities in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia for the Environmental Acquis
This report describes the existing administrative capacity for the implementation of the full range of EU environmental law in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. It identifies the strengths and weaknesses of the current systems for developing, planning and implementation of environmental law in preparation for EU accession and makes detailed recommendations for enhancing the capacity of institutions at national and local level.
