Assessing Socio-economic Benefits of Natura 2000 - a Case Study on the ecosystem service provided by Bialowieza Forest
This case study explores the different economic and social benefits (i.e. ecosystem services) Natura 2000 sites have to offer. It demonstrates how the Toolkit for Assessing Socio-economic Benefits of Natura 2000 (developed by IEEP for the European Commission) can be used in practise.
